From the Dakotas, this amethyst and diamond ring features traditional design and the multiple colored gold that earmarks the Black Hills style.
Leaves of 14-karat green and pink gold frame a 5 x 3-mm oval amethyst in a prong setting. Three tiny petals extend above and below the gemstone; the two center petals hold round diamonds (0.01 total carat weight). The 10-karat gold band features engraved slashes for extra glitter. A hinged presentation box accompanies the ring.
